Welcome to Plantd. By downloading, installing, or using our mobile application or website (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and agree to comply with these Terms. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

Plantd provides faith-based educational content including daily lessons, learning paths, an AI-powered Bible study guide, a virtual plant companion, and gamification features (streaks, XP, achievements). The Service is for personal, non-commercial use.

3. User Accounts

  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
  • You may not share your account or allow others to access it.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
  • Reproduce, distribute, or modify any content from the Service without permission
  • Use the AI Bible guide to generate harmful, offensive, or misleading content
  • Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service

5. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service — including lesson content, illustrations, design elements, and the Plantd brand — are owned by Plantd and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

6. AI-Generated Content

The AI Bible guide provides responses generated by artificial intelligence. While we strive to provide biblically accurate and helpful guidance, AI-generated content should not be considered a substitute for professional pastoral counseling, theological education, or personal study of Scripture.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific expectations. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Plantd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend your access if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
